How it works

Up'n'Dive – présentation des lunettes d'apnée autocompensées / self-equalizing freediving goggles
1
Automatic equalization

The straps contain air reserves (balloons). On the way down, air from the balloons flows into the goggles. No squeeze, and no air to blow in to equalize them.
On the way up, the air returns to the balloons.

2
Hands-free equalization

The goggles are used with a nose clip. Your hands stay free throughout the dive. You can equalize continuously, including with a mouthfill.

3
Peace of mind and performance

Hands-free use and automatic equalization make free immersion, breaststroke, freefall and filming easier. More relaxation and less air used means more depth!

Frequently asked questions

How do the goggles work?

The straps contain air reserves (balloons). On the way down, this air flows into the goggles to prevent squeeze on the eyes. On the way up, the air returns to the balloons. You no longer need to use air to equalize a mask.

What is the maximum depth for the goggles?

The goggles are designed for use at depths of up to 80 meters, but are guaranteed only up to 40 meters for safety reasons related to individual body types. Up'n'Dive assumes no liability for use beyond this depth.

Are these goggles right for my level?

There is no minimum level to use self-equalizing goggles. You can use them as soon as you practice depth freediving.

What are the advantages of goggles over a freediving mask?

The goggles are self-equalizing, so you don't need to blow air into them to equalize. That air stays available for more autonomy, and the risk of mask squeeze is eliminated.
The goggles are used with a nose clip, which makes gentle, continuous equalization much easier than with a mask. This reduces the risk of ear barotrauma.
